As above, I installed a Blade 7000S for a friend, easy as pie. You will need to get a sub to a CS server but will need to look on a different forum as CS is a no no on DK

I am currently on vm cable was looking in to the kryptview a780 option, but from the reports the blade 7000 appears a better choice.
I have no dish installed or any sky subscription, so what type of dish is required? do I need any kind of sky subscription? I understand that I wll require a sub from a cs server, so that's not a problem.

I thought the Blade Combo could be used for Sat and Cable?

What's the situation regarding firmware for the Blade 7000C Combo? I did hear that there were limited releases of new firmware which is causing a problem.

The Blade combo's that I have are for Cable and Satellite - NOT for FREEVIEW (DTT)

According to the Blade site, they do both options but I have not seen one that does Freeview, I've only ever had the Sat and Cable variety.

Best bet is to check before you buy.
