kv a780 software prob

im just having trouble on a new kvA780 trying to download software on to box im using usb to rs232 & after following the process trying to download software it says someting like 'software allready downloaded' then does nothing more,can anyone help me (a new member btw) thanx.

if the software is already on the box, try plugging it into the tv and scanning it , dont forget to put in your area code, if your box does already have the software installed you can always check for updates via the box once it's set up

go to menu-system info-ok and tell us what firmware is on box
is it 24042011? that is the latest.
