    Connection

Hi, just a quick question about connection for kryptview, as i have to split the signal from either the router cable or tivo box cable, does it do any harm to split the router cable? when i tested it i didn't lose any speed on my internet, but not sure if i am ok doing it. Thanks.

why would you need to split the router cable, tivo works wireless, and your kryptview need to be connected to your router in order for it to work

The virmin cable comes into house behind tv, this is then split, one goes to tivo box the other goes to router, instead of splitting the one that goes to the tivo for the kryptview, which i always used to, i just wondered if it is ok to split the router one, i know its best not to split cables but can't see any other way if i want to watch my tivo.

oh yes its fine to split the coax cable before your modem,

or you can split the 1 that goes to the tivo, either way its bascially the same wire
to many splitters can affect the signal though

Thanks for that, the good thing about cable is you don't seem to lose that much after splitting. Cheers.
