    channels stopped working

    Hi i need some help with my KV box as all channels have stopped working plus all FTA channels
    the box was working fine this morning but when i come home tonight i had No channels so i did a factory reset and then rescan. and then all i get is all ready exists 7 times and then it says complete EXIT with zero channels scanned
    i thought it was a signal problem but my other kv box works fine.
    so can anyone help me with please . and it's wired as i can use the Extra Features on the kv box
    IE Traffic Information + Weather Information
    i have run out of ideas so can anyone help me with please

            this what i did

            1. do a factory reset (must e done before every scan)

            2. select my provider

            3. select "network"

            4. start scan (press green button)

            5. now this is where it says 1 already exists etc.
            a list of network id's should now appear.
            but NO network id's appears on both of my boxs now

                  you are not getting a signal to your box as your not getting the fta channels maybe you have been cut off outside in cabinet ,if you have any virgin service like BB and is working ok then check your coax connections at splitters etc
                  the extra features come though internet so your bb connection is ok check your coax cables and unplug your other box to see if one will work first

                    my virgin service is ok as my BB is working fine and my v+ box is working fine i checked my coax connections at splitters
                    and there fine as i plugged my v+box into it and it works fine it's wired like you say its like i have been cut off but i havent

                          are you putting kv at the main coaxial cable so no other boxes or splitters are there to drop signal level down,remove lan before scan,i presume its the 24042011 firmware on box to work,if the signal is too low it may not get picked up during scans.vm boxes may cope with a lower signal and also check net id from that box also incase it has changed.

                            yes im using the 24042011 firmware and i will try the kv without any splitters
                            i will put it on main coaxial cable and see if that works


                            Right there's differently something wrong with my KV boxes
                            as i took them round my mates house and its still doing the same thing
                            but my mates KV box it working fine
