Some channels missing and others glitching

    Hi folks,

New to this so go easy please.

Just set up my new Kryptview A780. So far so good with only some minor problems that maybe some of your guys could help me with.

I have flashed it and scanned the channels succesfully thanks to the great instructions on here. Most of the channels are coming up great. I have also updated it etc etc.

Some channels are glitching every now and again - is this normal? If not, do you know what I can do to solve it?

More annoying are the channels that aren't appearing at all even though the signal for them are well over 80%. I can't get Sky Sports 1 and 3 (SS1 worked earlier but isn't working any longer). None of the MTV channels are working for me. Is this the same for everyone? If not, how can I fix it. The same can be said for Sky Premiere and a few others.

Sorry for the long message but didn't want to leave anything out.

KV team might be hard at work but that will NOT stop the Kryptview from having missing channels and glitching all over the place. Ever since ive had this box its been nothing but missing channels and glitches, crackling and messing around. Long for the KV 700C days back, but the truth is the KV780 will always be glitchy and problematic due to the nature of home plugs and cs.

Fair enough. I'm using ethernet personally but still having problems. Most channels have been on at some stage but the music channels and some of the movies have been off more than on recently.

To be honest, i can't really complain that much, its still a great deal.

cs can be glitch free if the correct capacity planning is done. If you have say a server that is servicing around 100 connections at once, they yes it will glitch where as having a plethora of servers servicing 50 users will be glitch free

end of the day it all depends if the people providing said service want money over customer satisifacation and the truth is the money comes first.

Capacity has little to do with how commercial cs works. Generally a reasonable spec server can handle 10,000 queries as well as it can handle a single query. The main problem for any cs is nearly always the codeword upload and download paths and the latencies those paths introduce. Most other problems are basically down to card and tier management (channels going off entirely is usually due to a tier expiring or a card becoming unavailable for some reason)

                            Hi Guys,

Just updated and its miles worse than before used to have glitching a little bit on Sky Sports 1 but now its on every channel, and loads are off.

Tried everything resetting loads of times change ethernet cable, scan with ethernet cable in and out, rescan lots of times.

Can I go back to the older fw? is there anyway of doing it?.

                            Thanks in advance
