What are the odds of the boxes going off just prior to Xmas?

The reason I ask is if you follow the sat scene, those with the spider box have suffered the same fate. All those with boxes over 12months old have had their access to the servers turned off.

How long before this practice spreads?

The boxes have been out for well over 12 months now, and sooner or later the switch will be pulled to either sell new boxes or to get further payment etc.

The spiderbox went off for all users with boxes over 12 months old after an update and so on.

There will be plenty of moans and groans if or more probably when the servers start being selective. It is simple economics as opposed to being bah humbug I have had good service and value from my Kyrptview.

Better to start looking now for alternatives as opposed to moaning and groaning when the inevitable happens.

here here had my box for over 15 month now still going strong

no interest in post clocking matey - don't need to. Only use this site for the Kryptview box that I have. I mainly use sat at this time, hence the warning from the expeirence of many Spiderbox users. The switch was thrown without warning, and everyone basically told that they had had the service for over 12 months and what more did they expect!!

The title is tongue in cheek.

spiderbox is a sat box they only use payservers so the most posable reason why it went off because there sub to the server had expired you re sub and it gets reconneced

The spiderbox was not a pay sub service. It was a 'free gift' which allowed you access to channels. Servers now 'turn off' the boxes which are over the 12 month mark, without warning.

No means of re connecting at this time, other than to buy a new box.

Hopefuly does not happen elsewhere, but I am a realist.

because it was a 12 month gift all u do is find another server and sub depending on how meny month you sub for it will get turned off once it reachs 1 3 6 12 month mark dosnt mean the box is useless i know what i am talking aboutyou can buy a spiderbox with no gift the 1 you got or on about came with the box simple it runs out find another server and kv are nothing to do with spiderboxs,satkv,cable like sv that used 2 be free now u need 2 sub to get it going

m8 had my box over 18 months now so i dont think yer know wot yer on about ye kv has had its probs but hey its still free at the mo and if they did start charging a small fee then so be it still well worth it but why be such a doom and gloom merchant
