Is 0000 means dead box?

Hi Guys,
Just tried to fix what is not broken and this shit happened. I did not scanned the box for long time. Seeing some new channels I thought to reset everything. I did below:
1. Went to menu and deleted all channels
2. Reset to factory defaults
3. Swithched off the box from the back
4. Swithed on and display now shows 0000 and nothing in the TV screen. None of the remote options works except switch off. Did several swith on and off, still the same

Is it dead ????
Any Advice please... .

sounds like your scart lead is faulty,check its pushed in properly
once you have a picture,follow these instructions
press menu
press okay on instalation
enter pin 0000
press okay on automatic search
set the network to your provider(in most cases telewest)
scan type should say network
press green button to start scan
wait for a list of areas to come on screen
go to area nearest you and wait for scan to finish
If you dont pick up all the channels reset box to factory default and repaeat the above and choose a different area

Spot on mate. Silly me, when I swith off the box it loosen the scart .

another reason why to use the remote to put box into standby, glad your back to happy viewing.

Stopped using scarts on Kv long time ago. I find Red, Yellow and White AV lead is much better.

cheap scarts are not that secure ,some others have a better grip with a stay put connection.
