nagra 3 has been with us for about a year and half does anyone think it will be cracked i would like to think some group of genius decoders are working on it at the moment or is it a pipe dream

Very unlikely !
You have to remember that this stuff is not done by people playing around at home. The real stuff is done by big business with lots of financial backup for some serious equipment and the people to work that equipment.
Lets not forget that N1 was effectively opened by a Sky subsidary (NDS in Israel). The scrutiny that Murdochs clan are getting at the moment I doubt they would want to get caught up in something shady yet again !
