kryptview a 780;going to purchase one this weekend,been advised to get starview,which is most reliable.

both have had their fair share of problems over the past few months,mainly missing channels or glitching while viewing programmes.
If you haven't bought yet why don't you have a look at the sat section ? Especially if you have got an old sky dish stuck on your house, if not you could put one up, you don't need nothing fancy.
The Sat side is more reliable and you can get all the HD channels.
On the plus side for Kryptview it is the only box you don't have to pay a subscription fee for.

If you go for a Starview then you will have to pay a monthly sub, so you may as well go down the Sat route; I would recommend the Openbox s11 (skybox), it's cheap at around ?60 and you get all the HD chans but you will need a dish and sub/month.
There is no monthly sub with KV780 and they seem to have ironed out the problems that have plagued them the last year.Comment
