Thats how it should be but lazy installers seem to leave the green cover sleeve exposed from the highway through to you property.

granted, but its still covered by plastic sheathing.. plastic waterproof sheathing.. if service is still on, its because this sheathing is doing its job, so im still confused as to why the kv team deserve a 'well done'

Yes -Mine is like that and I can see it through the snow-A green pipe which has been like this since it was installed 10 years ago. Should I ask them to sort it out or is it okay?
