network ID not comming up

Hi All.
lets start at the beginning. I have got a kryptview 780 and need to get it working ...
I have flashed a file to it 24042011.bin.
then I have done a factory reset, done an auto search ..
NETWORK (OK)...TELEW.
channel search tpye ...network
Pressed green button, all that comes up is 1_11 ALREADY EXSISTS NO TV CHANNELS OR RADIO ..
what am I doing wrong or have I got the uptodate bin file or do I need other files ...any help would be greatful

u could try s/w update to see if it helps should be 29/11/2011 i think, u are t/w ok and not choosing wrongly? u have cable feed in okay?

yes got all cables firmly in place...
system info..29/11/20118..
H/W Version v3.0.0..
software Kryptview a780 pv 4.1.00.
I do a factory default then a auto search on T/W
..channel search .network
and still get the same ( 1-11) already exsists no list of network ID ...

do I have the corrct bin file thats upto date

do u have a live feed from street? have u watched video that cactikid has given u?

yes watched the video and have a live feed from the street Im using it through a wireles vm modem conection via a ethernet cable

do I have to have a live feed conected to the box as well as the ethernet cable ... did a live feed and it found the channels . take live feed out and the channels are scrambled not even showing FTA

your coaxial cable needs to be a live feed plugged in directly to box before you scan,no splitters or extensions or wifi to be used.look at the video again it does list net ids,do a factory reset then power off box at rear for a min might delete tps so you can start afresh.
box only needs a live feed to scan and lan removed.

for box to work it needs the live coaxial cable feed and the lan connected to work.

guess thats the problem then no live feed need to get some cable to do that... when it worked the skysp1 said scrambled channel how do i over come that bit

I have a similar problem have not used my kryptview since befor e xmas turned it on today to watch the match updated the firmware which it done automattically and now nothing
if i do a reset it shows 11 already exists and nothing else no option to pick an area or anything

This is a longshot but could the calender settings be causing my problems

I have tried to set the calendar to todays date but it wont save

any ideas ???
