A780 Box displays ON only!

Guy's please help, I have spent most of the evening serching through forums trying to find a solution to no avail.

I have just recieved and new a780 and flashed it with Kryptview_A780_18062010.bin. Everything seemed to have worked fine and got a suceeded message on the loader. However when I turned to box of and back on all I got was 'ON' on the display. I have tried numerous versions of teh firmware and even tried flashing the FTA firmware, none have got me passwed the 'ON' display.

Heres a little more information on how I uploaded the firmware to the box.

• I used a null modem cable
• From a PC on OS Win7
• Tried Kryptview_A780_18062010.bin and A780_v3.2.00_Official.bin
• Used STB Editor and selected Type FTA_Model and com1.

Any help would be greatly appreciated guys.

firmware is too old to work,put this on box first,

the do a s/w update with box hooked upto tv and lan connected,.............menu.......instalation... s/w update..let box update and reboot and dont touch anything when it updating and loading and rebooting.
then factory reset/default and autoscan your provider.

Thanks Catikid, As as soon as I posted this thread I found the solution on another. Sod's law, I must of spent about 2 - 3 hours looking before I posted it aswell.

I know, tell me about it..... One suggestion though matey, Is there any chance of updating the tutorial what on the main page as none of the links work for the loader or firmware hense the reason I ended up downloading an old version.

downloads had the last flashable by null modem cable,funny they did not have the april one but once box is flashed by cable all updates are done online by s/w update.
one of the files is a fta file if your are sending box back unflashed/default,
hitecks guide and firmware link sends you to downloads where you check for match with your box and latest file.
