Hi hope someone can help
every time i connect internet to kryptview box internet crashes is this to do with mac address and can it be changed

are you using a faulty lan cable?,did you try powering off box modem and router for 30 secs then on as it may clear a fault.

May also be an IP address conflict. You could try connecting the KV box with the Router powered down and see what happens when you power it up.

Unless the MAC address is all 00's or all FF's (indicating a fault) then the MAC is not the problem. The MAC is simply a unique serial number, nothing more.

Its likely to be some kind of cabling fault but its also possible that some part of the box hardware has failed. That shouldn't really compromise your internet though as your router should effectively isolate each device from faults on every other device.

What router are you using ?

..and when you say internet 'crashes' what do you actually mean ?. Describe the symptoms you get.
