I am back on my old pc now i am getting cant open serial comport on both port 1 an two bit rate is right ie 115200 etc ?

This is a differnt cable 99.9 sure this is a good old null modem cable

Hi m8 i had a simular issue with 1 box , but in the end it came down to timing , i had to run the program and wait abt 2 secs b4 turning the box on at back

Alternatively if you have a mate with one running wire them back to back and flash it that way......................

well if he uses that one its the wrong file for starters he has a 780 not 750

I am there guys got an old dirty null modem cable from a back alley pc repaire shop tried it on my old pc out of the loft which is xp running in safe mode no joy so back to mums xp running machine which also has serial port this is the third cable that i have tried on this pc guess what flashed no problem 3 days of trying 5 diff pcs many miles in the car after my second cable i really did not think it was that but the pukker info on this site convinced me it could not be anything else. A BIG THANKYOU TO YOU GUYS i was so close to throwing it in the bin but now its up and running i think its pukker

i would put a tag around this cable for future use so you know it works.
