hi peeps - please help? bought a used iconnect from fleabay but it won't update itself from a a750 with the latest stuff on ie 02.12.12 nor will it update with i connector software & loader any suggestions please? thanks

Update your 750 with the latest firmwae in the downloads, factory reset and scan for channels. Connect to the icon with a NULL MODEM cable and connect icon to router with ethernet cable. Power both box and icon. If the icon doesn't hit more than two light after a couple of minutes disconnect its power and reconnect it.

silly question is your kryptview a 780 model or 750? and what files are on your pc or laptop that you flashed box with?

thanks for your replies guy's i have done exactly as dw190 adviced it must be a duff one. the seller advertised it as used so i thought just connect it to a 750 with the latest stuff on and iconnect will update itself! expensive folly!!

Could being from Ire have an effect on ones reading.

or he could have a 780 with hidden lan that does happen if people can remember back that far,the updated file is in downloads for putting on the 750 no s/w needed and the icon
software and loader is also there,
powering off box at rear and modem and router may be needed for a lan connection.
it is whats not said can be ea.sily missed

I went through near fifty iconnectors and never had one go duff. Had a couple that required the software reinstalling but they always kicked up after reinstall. In fact I just done one today that had gone corrupt.

I'll PM the op and see if I can sort it for him.
