no or bad signal ?

has been a bit glitchy last few weeks but iv been watching it right up to the last hour and it has just stopped working ?

giving "bad or no signal" ?

checked all feeds and ....

anyone else or is it just me ? west yorkshire

hi mate, my starview is exactly the same. was working fine around 12am then around 12:30 - 12:45 got the msg "no signal" and the indication bars have dropped. all connections are fine and broadband is working fine aswell, so just the box. and im also in west yorks.

it doesnt make sense, if theres no signal coming through, how is my broadband working? surely that shud of gone off aswell? rite?..

if fta not working its a cable issue not kv problem,maybe vm had another breakdown.
boxes need a good signal to work,lower the signal to stop the box from working and your internet will probably still work but slower,remove the splitter and see if fta comes back.

By the sound of this it could be the tuner.

Hello, sorry I'm new and I don't know exactly where to post my issue.

I have a DM800HD clone with Tuner BCM4505 and nemesis 2.4 on ssl#82.

My issue is with the sat signal both SNR and AGC fluctuating crazily from 0 to 100 and not locking.

First of all, last saturday it was all fine and suddenly the day after I had no signal. After doing a trial and error as far as image, DM, cable and LNB I end up having this fluctuation. All the hardware and cabling is brand new...

I really need help as I don't know what to do to get this problem fixed.

I would appreciate if anyone as any advice or solution to provide me.

It may be that your dish has moved slightly.
Best to ask in here as more sat peeps will help you.

By the way, Dish is pretty well fixed and no chances it has moved as no strong winds nor hasrh weather...

well ask in proper section if dish hasnt moved then water ingress perhaps at lnb end.

I have posted where badapple advised. No water as I've changed the lnb today, it's brand new...
