    req your scan frequencys

    i was wondering if people could let me know which frequency is used to find channels for the town they live wanted to create a an upto date cables.xml thanks
    the more technical people most probably know a quicker way but im not that technical. also i know cable scene is dead before people say

    ehh,starview 6 and 7 and kryptview 750 and 780 still work ,so not dead yet ,does the automatic scan not do that anyway,or is it net ids you are thinking of,remember things are changing all the time and tps moving so lists may become out of date quickly.

      meant dreambox scene is dead. want frequencies to create a dreambox cable.xml. it is netids im talking about but i need the default freqeuncy they tune on plus town name and symbol rate if they know it

          The more technical way is called a NIT scan. If you look around you may find such a program available for dreamboxes. The NIT scan will give you a list of all transponder frequencies used for each and every NetId (on exTW or exCW networks only, exNTL will only give you info on the NetId your connected to).

          The NIT info is what subbed boxes use to find info on all tunable services.
