Kryptview a780

Hi Everyone,
Im new here and could do with some help if possible,
i have purchased a kryptview a780.
Im not sure if i have to update the software or not?
The Date is 26/10/2010
Software version Evolution v1.7.00
H/W Version v3.0.0.
If i do have to update the software could you let me know which one i need for V/M
Once this is done do i just scan the same as the old eurovox.
If anyone could help me out that would be Great.

old non working firmware,use this then do a s/w update online

You can just flash the latest firmware straight onto the box - Digital Kaos - Downloads - A780 12042012

HELLO ALL PLEASE I AM NEW TO THIS SITE CAN ANYONE TELL ME WHAT I CAN DO TO MY KRYTPVIEW A780 AS THE INTERNET PORT IS NOT FLASHING THE YELLOW AND GREEN LIGHT AGAIN. PLEASE IS THERE ANY HOPE TO REPAIR IT IF AT ALL A WAY ROUND TO GETTING NETWORK WORKING ON THE DEVICE. THANKS

have you tried powering off at rear box modem and router for 30 secs then on.
