no the reply was for the guy who started the thread ,you dont say what box you have and you have been having problems before the upgrade that knocked off 790 in NE

I pay for B/Band but not TV and have glitching just got my box the other day - So going to try it at my mates who pays for TV and B/Band - I have changed evrything splitters cable re -scan updated re flashed the lot!! So I might have to pay for the minimum package to get a stronger signal?? (If it works in my mates)

I am in the NE thought i had a 780 but now realise its a 790 with the same issues, lets hop there is a fix!

daz paying for tv WILL NOT give you a stronger signal glitchin is the norm for these boxes ever since the big shut down in april last year

mines breaking up sync even on discovery distorted at times recently, but its not unwatchable though it is ~~~~in annoying the last 72 hrs or so, i hope they will fix it soon, but check it at a friends house daz, urs seems to be giving to much bother.

Will do mate, I was going to do it the night and see how it works in his house. Just seems a waste of ?130! I had a Eurovox a few years back and that was great never had any problems and thought this would be the same.

nature of the beast with nag3, you have to rely on server, internet connections, virgin works and so on, it will never be like the good ole days sadly.

Yep its a A780 an I canny get it working at all glitching on everything to the extent that it is un-watchable. I tryed it in my mates and it was still the same - I am sick of it! AAAggggrr

Yes lots of ideas. First one that pops to mind is buy a linux sattelite box.

ok shot in the dark,how was the box flashed was it with a pc with xp and null modem cable,or was it flashed with a usb adaper?maybe try reflashing with a null modem cable and pc with serial port and correct firmware and s/w update and reset/rescan from main feed and reboot network if needed.

as said a couple of posts up... get rid of the krypview... get yourself a decent linux sat box
