for fencepost, they have cut thro the cable
somewhere;getting no or bad signal even on
    freeview.
is there anyway of finding where the
cable is running like cable finders they have
for walls ? i cannot contact virmin no sub

it may depend how deep the cable is,wonder if a metal detector would work or is it all optical cables now.

HSS Tool hire do a goood deal on mini diggers your gona need one by the sound of it but on a serious note it has to be under 1 of your fence posts if it is down to the workmen digging post holes or then again its also possible virmin have disconnected you at the main box

it doesnt, all vermin feeds are live, so signal is always coming into your house. cable has to be physically disconnected at junction boc to stop signal, they rarely bother unless they out there for something else

The cables will be very close to the surface, follow it from the connection outside the building to the pavement.

                Just for educational purposes.

If the cable is live and there no payment going to the virmin - then as this is in a TV section and with Nag3 - then what use is the cable?

Sorry for hijacking and bending rules.

it works like a sky satellite signal.. thats ALWAYS going to your dish, u just need a method of unscrambling the signals

Well, go round the front - past the house and try digging it up.
