Noob advice for the A780 please guys :)

Hi people, I am trying to get the A780 working for a colleague and I think I may have flashed an older image.

    Kryptview_A780_18062010.

I flashed the image no problem and everything seemed a success but when connecting the box to my tv through the scart lead. I have No Signal appearing on the screen. The box says ON but I cant get into any menu`s to factory reset before scanning.

The only advice I can see to a similar problem could possibly be that I have flashed an old image.

Any help would be greatly received. Thanks

    Kryptview_A780_12042012.bin is what you need.

That is old firmware and won't work.

I hear KV not working in a number of areas at the mo,
but even if their server is down you should still get FTA
and "scrambled or no signal" message on others until
    the server comes back up

Hi mate, thanks for the reply. My VM signal should be fine, just unscrewed it from my V+ box, that was working fine and screwed it on to the KV.

Hi all, I have a similar problem in that I flashed a new box with an old image. All that now happens when I turn on the KV box is that it shows a P followed by a sequential run of numbers from 1 to 255 and it keeps looping.

I've connected the VM feed to see if that makes a difference but no joy.

I am unable to get past this looping sequence of numbers and I've tried pressing a combination of buttons on the remote but without any success.

Is anyone able to provide any assistance as I've not been able to find a thread with a similar kind of a problem?

            Thanks

It was either 24Aug2010 or 09Sep10, can't recall exactly.

I shall try to reflash with correct and let you know.

                Thanks

I?ve attempted to flash the 24Apr2011 F/W but the STB Editor displays a message ?The downloading is not requested? and the box just keeps looping the numbers.

Sounds like your timing is a bit off m8 switch box off at the back hit download to flash then switch the box on again......................
