New A780

Hi Just got new a780 and loaded the firmware. Everything seem to go fine but no picture after "download success" message. Box just says "on". Any help would be great.

What date was the firmware you flashed it with m8 you should be looking for 24/04/2011 or later...................

It was 03/01/2011 and cant find any later than that. Please help going crazy here.

Cant see it in the downloads either m8 unless im blind someone will link you to it sooner or later have you tried updating on line .....................

Reflash with this mate your be ok....................

Can't do anything at the min mate. The screen is blank and on the display it just says on. Can't access menu.

That's a bad flash. You can try to re-flash from the PC but I find the best way to fix is by doing a box-to-box transfer.

Dont 4get to unzip it first m8 or it wont work................

Thanx for that Largerland. Sorry for being a pain but I now have picture but most of the channels are saying scrambled or no video and when I go to menu for installation its asking for a password. Any ideas?

Yeah update it on line m8 menu install s/w update that should do it after you have done that do a factory rest and rescan...............
