    A790T no or bad signal

    Hi

I have A790T with latest FW. Tried doing factory reset, re-flash, and scanned several times with no real joy.

While its automtically searching it seems like the singal quality keeps dropping to 0 (therefore unable to idetify channels). However, i tried once and somehow it picked up the channels but now when I try to view them (although channels worked at 1st for a few seconds) it just says no or bad signal not even getting channels 1-5. The feed is fine, as I have another A750 + iconnector which works perfectly. It seems like the A790 has tuning/tuner issues.

Has anyone got any suggestions or anyone had this issue previously. Your help would be much appreciated.

    Thnks

Yes I did use a null cable to flash. Ive tried it again and again, get a few channels for a little while then I keep getting no or bad signal message on all channels including channels 1-5.

Try connecting the 790 to 750 feed to see if it works

          Maybe the splitter or leads

Thanks for all the replies guys, the A750 works fine on the same feed.

I've just re-flashed the box again and scanned straight from mains, and updated it via s/w update. Seems like when its searching for channels the signal quality keeps fluctuating from 70 to 0 every second. Anyway it seemed to have found the channels and is working okkkish bit jittery, signal quality shows 100% constant on channels screen.

Thanks for all the help i'll see if i have any issues with it tomoroow!

way too high as they should be around 80% for signal and quality.
