humming sound

i have an annoying humming sound coming from my tv.

when i mute the kryptview box the humming sound is still there.

when i mute the tv the humming sound dissapears.

when i turn volume via tv remote up the humming noise increases.

anyone know how to get rid of this problem?

try changing the scart lead and ensure its fully home at both ends too

could be a sound setting when u choose a picture format, i.e personnel/movie/16:9 my tosh does the same but only on cinema setting, no idea why but it just does.
