Box has lost its certificate - only your dealer can fix it by flashing a new certificate.

hmm, think your stuck with a duff box !

A dealer would normally just swap the box for working one if they had supplied the original and then send the duff one back to the main distributers for repair/rework. Generating/programming new certs is something that I expect will restricted to just a few individuals as their system security will depend on it. You may find a dealers who's willing to support another dealers box but I wouldn't bet on it !

A possible option might be to find a non-working box and then swap the flash chip so your box gets the certificate of the non-working one

Regarding the old firmware, that will likely point at an old set of servers so the box will probablly never even be asked to provide a certificate. This old firnware can only ever work as fta !

yes you will def need to return to your supplier for box to be recertified /replaced but load the fta software in the stickies
