hd can do 3d some of the streams of the olympics are in 3d but it may depend on provider.

Sorry I don't fully understand, so the new HD box can show some 3D channels aswell? Also is there any news on how many of the HD channels will be available with this box?

I think they will go like the spiderboxes, server time will come to an end for older boxes in favour of the HD box. May not happen straight away but I think it's in the post.

some reports say 38hd,i cannot confirm or deny,not counting the olympic ones,you would have to see what your provider offers

The box does support 3D, both the Eurosport 3D channel and BBC HD's 3D broadcasts are available.

yes picks up 3d, the only proplem i have at the mo is that it wont give me 1tvhd just says scrambled, but apart from that nice box

ITV1 HD will have the same problem as ITV1 +1 and be a regional channel, the box would need to be in the same area as the subscribed card being used.
