    hd box

anyone got any feedback on these new boxes yet, ive recieved an email saying a can buy one now but ive still not found a single comment on the box and its performance. i assume you will have to upload the firmware onto the box again like the previous boxes but is the firmware available for download as i cant find it or does it come pre-installed, any info would be grateful before i buy one cheers

no its all true and good mate, got mine on saturday and works a treat, slight glitching on certain channels but am led to believe its just teething problems and should hopefully be sorted with next update, all in all would deff recommend

Well, what id like to know is the actual spec of the box.
Does it support PVR functions, either to a hdd or usb. Wireless support ? Epg ? What is the gui like ? Im pretty sure its single tuner.

Or is it just a bog standard plain and simple hd box that they're trying to charge ?250 for.

you can use it on freeview with aerial as a fta box or flashed to use on cable.

you get all hd channels that are available except itv hd due to some kinda regional issue, you godda be in the same region as the card holder to get it but all other hd ones work great, like a say slight glitching but picture quality is class even on the standard channels
