Really stuck on flashing kv box - help needed!

Ok

I've got a new kv box, a null modem cable and a USB adapter. I've plugged everything together, put the USB in the pc base unit and it doesn't recognise the flippin thing!

I'm sure I need a driver for it but have zero clue as to how I get one, which one I need, how to install it etc.

Also it doesn't pick up the box at all.

I'm rapidly losing patience!!

is this A850? have u formatted the usb pen? unzip file load up to pen, put in the usb port on the back of the box and away u go.

It's an A780. Ive plugged the cable and usb adapter into one of the 4 usp pointa on the front of the base unit. it also doesn't recognise the Com 1 - 12 points either when I try to dl the files.

I'm so brassed off and impatient !
