A780 not working

i Have a Kryptview A780
Date 24/04/2011
software ver: Kryptview A780 PV 308.00
H/W ver: V3.0.0
I am in the Oxford area
I have flashed the firmware
set for NTL
when I scan for channels it finds 8 TP's but wont pick up any TV channels

can anyone help please??

You need to update with 26/04/2012. Via the remote menu/ insrallation/sw update

I have done a factory reset
scan the A780 finds 8 network ID's
but will for find any TV channels ??

Choose the correct id for your area then press green button to scan

i have a choice of networks
(1) NTL
(2) EX-C&W
(3) CHORUS
(4) TELEWEST

i am in the oxford area set mine to NTL
channel search type set to ALL
scans but no TV channels
i have had a look at the manual search and the bars at the bottom of the screen read
signal strength "88"
signal quality nothing there ??

Factory reset box. menu/installation then try one of the others

If VM sub availabe,settings/tech stuff/NetID--will show correct NetID

Are you sure your cable feed is live, take it youve got coax connected

a live 60 Mb connection

did you follow the video again?out of curiosity how did you flash the box?

Check your cables again and try scanning without any splitters connected, you dont need router connected when scanning

i have noticed time and date on the STB is monday 01 0000
and i cant change it
when i scan TP's i get transponder numbers not areas?
