VM HAVE CHANGED THE NETWORK ID TO A IP ADRESS FOR TVO THATS WHY YOU CANT GET A N/WORK ID ..can someone please explain what badger23 means by this?

thanks again everyone, i have follow the you tube set up guide carefully step by step and am sure i didnt miss anything. i have notice under manual search my signal strenght is between 77 to 88 but my signal quality is 0 is this my problem? and if so why is the vm box working ok? i have done the scan with the spliter removed

The problem am havinig is exactly the same as Kryptonite does any body know if he resloved it?

Am not getting any options for net id from any of the provider just already exist even after deleting all the channels and doing a factory reset

its defo a signal problem either cabling splitter or braid touching

try scanning at a mates house to see if it works.one question was the box flashed with a null modem cable and pc with xp and serial port,or by inferior usb adapter.?

The box was flash using a null modem cable with a usb adaptor using a laptop with window 7 8 month ago without any problem, I will try reflashing it using a xp pc with serial port. (ASEK) if its a signal promblem as you describe would it not also effect the VM box since that seem to be working fine? Although I have check all the ends of the cables for lose connections and all seem fine I will once again recheck.. Thanks again guys for your time and effort
