Kryptview a790 freezing signal 100

Hi

Having issues with my A790 in lesta area, been like this for quite some time. All pay channels (sky sports, sky movies etc) are freezing and stuttering, the signal on the bottom shows 100, however the FTA channels are working perfect without an issue?

Can anyone help here? Is this an issue with the tuner?

Help would be much appreciatived

signal and quality level should be around 80% so try fitting an attenuator to drop the signal

you will need to wait on a fix this has happened in NE 3 months ago 3 weeks ago in glasgow and no fix yet only affects the 790

an overpowering signal as ram says is too strong for box to cope with,if it was 80% and glitching yes the 790 does that unfortunately,so drop signal level first do you use a signal booster by any chance?

kryptview 790 signal

just fixed krypview signal that was at 100% l put a 50db+8db attenuator singnal is now at 70% working ok l could do with some more of the attenuator can any one tell were l could get some 50db attenuator from thanks

I have not got no signal booster cactikid, but the signal is split.

I did put a 50db attenuator on there, but it made no difference at all... would i need to increase that?

i don't know of any other way to reduce the signal so does anyone else have any suggestions?

p.s i've also tried the box in the other room where i have a a780, (signal on that box shows 75%) and also got the same issues on the a790, when connecting it says 100% - if that helps

ah interesting you have a 780 and that says 75%,if that is ok it must be the 790 at fault.

Sound like signal level is a red-herring. If your getting stuttering/freezing the problem is most likely to be internet related

but you guys dont know that 3 month ago vm did something to signal that knocked off the 790 in boro and seem to combine symbol rate then 790 gave 100% q , then 1 month later newcastle ,then 2 weeks ago glasgow now leicester
the stuttering freezing mentioned is not normal you can just make out a picture and no more nothing to do with internet connection

no m8 fix was not made as 790 were working in other areas ok but now problem has spread to more areas am sure they will now fix ,yes same box is working in other areas ok

Can some tech pleasee work on a fix for this? I'm happy to contribute some funds towards it if its required.. I'm also happy to help in other areas where required..

Still can't see any other way of patching this up?
