    when dowloading latest software in new starviewa 780 it keeps saying the downloading is not requested can anybody help .

      latest is by lan update only,unless you are trying to flash box for the first time,box has to powered off at rear first,then press download and power on box.

          Have you downloaded the correct S/W for your box because you have put starview a780 which its not right use this S/W and update by lan......................

          So have you KV or SV m8.....................
