what does it mean when it says downloading not requested

possible wrong crappy cable.
box has to be powered off at rear first press the download to start and power on box.

it means, for some reason the box hasn't initiated the download..

probable causes..

1. wrong com port selected.
2. wrong cable (rs232 and null modem cables look the same)


or if using a usb to serial adapter.

1. driver incorrectly installed
2. wrong driver installed
3. incompatable driver installed

correct cable...yeah thats what happened to mine took me 2 buys to get right cable

any ideas if the krypt 750 that needs an i connector would work with the connector that comes with starview 7,the little black thing that connects net to box,thanks

better off getting a 780 as the iconn.are around ?80 and rare.
