help 750

trying to set up 750 for mate. but i cannot seem to get any interweb connection through iconn to box.
think i flashed fine, put on i think 031111, scanned etc set up direct to modem no wireless, and nothing no sw update, weather etc... defo no chans ex fta.

also then put on a file called modd.fix or something (saw in assk post somewhere) from d-low sect. scannd' etc........ still nothing.

are there meant to be lights on iconn black box cause none on this... maybe they got or gave me wrong iconn... this person also has sv7 which has iconn i think or would all iconns work?

help please kaos.

if u have updated iconn with dec 2011 update 4 lights should be flashing if workin proper.

ok think the update iconn bit is where i am missing something.
so i....
flash box wit firm.
plug in n setup n scan....etc
when i then connect box to net via iconn get no internet conn, tried hard wire, n via router, with all else working.
i read when you connect you get iconn at start up.... updating...100%... i get none of this so far.
what simple thing am i not doing..


oh yeah there is not one light or the ability to display lights let alone 4 on the black thing hanging out of this 750 wit lan connection on the back.

i wonder..... kv750box ...... his old sv6/7 iconn ???

should be 4 green lights like item num 160934995110 on fleabay.

a starview lan connector is small,the kv one is quite big

Hi thanks again.

I buckled and bought the A750 for ?40, which seemed cheap. Ive seen an i-connector for ?50.

Do I definatley need the i-connector or can the firmware be uploaded through the RS port off a laptop?

Got the iconnector and the A750.....where do I find the firmware and how do I install it? Never had a unit with an 'iconnector' so this is all new to me.

I dont mean to change the topic but ive been thinking of buying the HD box as i have a A750with the i connector for some time now,iam a beliver ,if something is working leave it alone,but curiosity is getting the better of me hear as I have seen HD programes on V/M and they are good,Dose the hd box pick up the hd channels on the vermin site

I've been reading all the posts concerning the A750 and i'm abit confused! Do you have to update the A750 box firmware or do you update the iconnector firmware?

u flash box then power down connect iconn and power on u should see a count up message to 100% then connect ethernet and search for online update with remote.

A750 has been flashed with 02/12/12 firmware and Iconnector reconnected. But when I try a S/W update using remote I only get 3 green lights on the Iconnector and not 4 green lights?

The 0% to 100% progress bar stays at 0%.

Any ideas?
