im having lot of trouble with my kva780 keeps going to scrammbled every few minutes n stays off for about a mintute or two.updated with new s/w but no joy. anybody else having same problem.

thanx mate how do i know the signal strenth from bb.its started since the new s/w

just check its working ok nobody downloading and nobody sharing your network have the box off and google broadband speed checker and you can test your download speed to your pc if thats good then you need to lokk at your router and ethernet lead to box but check your signal quality first on your kv you should have 80 Q anything less than 70 will cause break up of picture if Q is ok then check your internet ,
is it breaking up on bbc itv etc ? or just pay channels and who is your broad band providor

thanx alex. the qualityis 82 n 86.suplied by virmin. doesnt break up on free channel. only on pay channel. cheked the speed .down load 14.5.n upload speed 1.1.

when the s/w online was done did you factory reset/rescan and choose correct net id,and reboot network if needed.

it should work well at that ,i would reset router as cati said and factory reset but try swupdate again as there were two of them ,perhaps try another area close to you as vm have been making some changes recently
your symtoms do point to a poor bb connection if rebooting router dont help try changing ethernet lead

i had done all of the above previous aswell but have to admit my box was getting scrambled the last few days aswell going on and off. all is back working well today though, maybe just vermin or problems, not sure.
