Only FTA working

Hi,

I tried the same thing but no channels - tried all the usual factory reset & then scanning - All channels are scanned into the box but only FTA work! (Birmingham region)

I also tried to update the software to see if that was a problem but it doesn't - Can anyone help don't understand it....

Just noticed the software is 2011

that sounds like box modem and router need a reboot as in power off at rear for 30 secs then on.

Tried that but nothing! I'm sure it's a software problem because I tried my brothers box & that works! I can't seem to update the software via the normal route!

That will be it then, you'll have to update via nullmodem cable.

Tried flashing box but nothing - I downloaded the loader & the april software!

The box doesn't seem to request the file - I have followed all the instructions - red,red standby etc...

is the box powered off at back first,press download and power on,are you 100% sure you have a null modem cable and has it been used before.

No the box has been on!

The null modem cable is brand new - Usb & the male connection for the box! I will try with it off - Thanks
