i mind i had a problem a while back with watch +1 & got told to power of box at mains for 10 mins then done a full scan or try aa manual scan

areas can differ with signal,and you are scanning from a main coaxial feed?

yes its coax feed,
do i need to manually install .. as suggested? , any tips on the procedure ?

from main feed no splitters or extensions,you want the strongest signal,if someone has a providers box,vm info could be got from that.
