Trying to get my head around the USB record function, playback picture is very glitchy... Using front USB , 8gb stick format to fac32. Any ideas?

Another member has reported using a sandisk 32gb with success.

I'm thinking that an extreme memory card may be the way forward, similar to photography the standard cards cannot handle it
