    sent you a pm with that site with loads of different connection
    as you can get the opposite connection that has the threads on the outside and it joins two f connector cables together. but it depends what cables you have.

        The variable attenuator has push on connections and so does the back of the 850, so what you need is a separate fly lead going from the attenuator to the box.

          hi beetlejuice my attenuator is the 1 posted on page 1 of this thread
          Cable TV Variable 0-20dB Signal Attenuator with F Plug Type Connector Fittings | eBay

          as you can see the ends are screw type and the cable i want to attach is the same as the ends on the attenuator i know there is a connector just cant bloody find it or its name

            [url= deleted

            this should be the bit you need mar but setting up the VARIABLE ATTENUATOR on my hd box didnt stop the glitching, its strange tho as it only glitches on certain channels like uk gold whilst others view perfectly

            just seen on earlier post that you have a a780 so this probably is not the part you need, my apologies

            think this item should work

            http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/F-Plug-Screw-Type-Male-Male-Connector-Adaptor-Pack-4-/220777569355?pt=UK_Sound_Vision_Other&hash=item336 75e5c4b

            this item should connect the attenuator to your kryptview box then your cable feed should already fit to the other connection on the attenuator

                  the cable is just a pass thru for the signal so you can use it with or without a cable

                      mrmarr did you have to twist the thing around on the attenuator ?

                        you mean the red thing ? nope haven't touched it since it arrived then just put it onto back of box and fit feed wire.

                        im still having VERY minor glitches , and i do mean minor and not in the same category as glitches as before,before 1 or 2 a min but now 1 or 2 an hour and so minor they are almost unnoticable

                        i believe iv got a few more channels too my horror ch wasn't working tiz now and 1 or 2 more i noticed (cant remember the names )

                        but buzzin best few ? spent in a while
