    Kryptview A790T

A m8's box was glitching really bad, told him to get an attenuator, which he did, still didn't help, took box to another m8's house, tried everything, just doesn't pick up a signal at all, stays at 0 no matter what :-(
Is this a tuner problem or is it the fact it's an A790T and they only work in certain area's now ?
Any help would be appreciated :-)

try reflashing the box with 780 firmware and then do a s/w update firmware latest 11112012...manual flash with null modem cable with the april firmware in downloads, factory reset
and scan from main feed with cable connection in correct socket[ unsure if 2 tuners are fitted ]
could be different area provider or different net ids.
the 790 is known for more glitching than the 780.
