    QAM

OK not wanting to sound a bit dense! But if QAM has changed do I need to change anything on box? I have re-scanned a few times but still no difference.

Even have bad glitching on freeview channels, anyone want to buy a HD box? Getting rid of mine if this continues. Can't stand wife's moaning any longer.

    Second-thoughts anyone want a wife!!!

I have tried it with none, with ten and with 20 not much improvement 20 probably makes it worse maybe I need 15?

Do you get the sound scrambling problem?

(mine not variable attuenators but -10 forward x 2)

Have had verminout recently so I know cable etc is OK, I used to use Manchester 2 but checked my Vermon hd ox and that's set to Manchester 3

            I have tried 1, 2, and 3

Never had any problems with the 780 but that's just as bad, the only thing that's changed is vermin have doubled the speed in this area but that should not be causing a problem. Mate who lives a mile away has same problems, endless glitching and freezing to the point it's not worth watching. All a bit strange. Maybe a localised problem.

you have factory reset/rescanned from direct feed no splitters, powered off box modem and router for 30 secs then on to clear any stored faults.
i would always check provider for problems.
what way is kv connected to bb?

My problems which may be coincidental started when I got hd box my 780 had been no problem up to that point but is also now a problem.

The 850 is connected to direct feed and has been reset / rescanned. Because of problems I called vermin out to check signal etc. on vermin hd box obviously. They fitted -10 forward attuator.

Digicom : I will try your suggestion it's worth a go, did you get your attuator from eBay?

                        Update

Fitted attenuator and It makes no difference! Well actually I lie, I can make it worse!

It's got to go, I have had enough. Will stick with the 780.

did you adjust the variable attenuator?,if that does not work i suspect wrong provider or netid.

                              Adjusted no luck.

The provider and ID are correct been using a780 fo nearly two years. Itsonly recent events that have caused this endless glitching.

Trying to watch BBC3 tonight and every five minutes it glitched. That was on the 850 so I put on the 780 and that just scrambled. Put on the virgin hd box and no problem.

people dont see the bigger picture now and from years ago, things have changed and more things to go wrong.
for strange reasons provider may be different on the 780 and the 850,dont assume its right.
