    kv a850hd netid

    Anyone else having any trouble with their box picking up netids? Had to reset box, went to scan but box not picking up the netids and is stuck on the cable scan. Luckily I had a channel list saved from xmas, uploaded that and the box works. (if anyone is going to try to rescan to see if theirs is working, please make a backup of your channels first). Not having any issues with my a780.

    are you scanning on correct provider,i think not as your not picking up net ids

      Yep, got the correct provider, done it a thousand times before and had no problems.

        and thats where the mistakes happen,with all the upgrading going on providers and net ids are changing,what was/may not be now.
        factory reset and choose a different provider,correct one will give you net ids.you are scanning from a direct feed ?

          Tried all the available providers and yes using a direct feed, still no joy. Someone else I know is having the same problem and they are in a different area to mine. Again, no problems with the A780s only the A850.

            if you are on ntl and not picking up your id then select TW and you ntl net id will show but ignore this if you are on tw allready

              Still no joy, may be a temporary local problem. I'm interested in hearing from someone who has tried to rescan their A850 HD box and whether it worked fine for them without any issues. Thanks.

                you have tried all 4 providers? did you check for local area problem,or reflash box in case of bad flash.

                  yes tried all 4 providers and reflashed. Do you have an a850, if so, is yours scanning ok?

                    factory reset,scan networks instead of all.
                    vm have a major outage on broadband so check area first

                    no cable boxes working in southern ireland only doorstops.
