If you are not on vermin who do you use?

or he still has a live cable feed and is using another bb supplier.

would i be right in saying coaxial cable and splitter one going to the super hub and a lan cable from that to your router and lan cable to kv,the other side of splitter going to the coaxial cable input, and on the other thread it mentioned adjusting settings on the hub.

also been told provider was doing upgrades in different areas which may have affected boxes.

You are right about upgrades. I have just been subjected to vermins router upgrade technique. Reset the router back to factory default. !!!! Gits

My cable - coax has splitter at source, one goes to kv box, the other to the vm super hub, networked to a netgear router and then everything hangs off the that router, I have nothing connected to vm super hub, but if I set vm super hub to modem only I lose my remote CCTV access!!!

I will try modem only mode tomorrow and see what difference that makes, as soon as I resolve my 2mb wireless speed which is a result of the upgrade. You have to love vermin.

can you use both as routers at the same time...? maybe that could cause problems

back to my other question what if your net id is not manchester.?
not sure but if you put superhub to modem mode and use a wifi router would that work?
starting to see a pattern i think, areas are been upgraded i think we can agree there,i see the qam is changing from 64-256,so at the moment its your boxes.

I have to use both as routers due to the super hub not supporting remote CCTV (long story)

However I tried super hub as modem only but it made no difference.

You name it I have tried it, except I have not tried standing on one leg facing south, holding the kv box in one hand and a bent coat hanger in the other while singing Be Bop A LuLa.

                    That's tonight's experiment.
