KV A750 + Iconnector help pleasee!! only power light

Hi

A750 + Iconnector has been working fine until Friday

Now all I am getting is the power light on the iconnector. I have tried to reflash the box to 021212 firmware and when I connect the iconnector it says 'module update failed'

Seems the Inconnector is being irresponsive. I have read that there is a update module/file for the inconnector (which I have) but i don't have the loader to update the file straight to the Iconnector.

Can anyone please help me here all i'm getting is the power light on the iconnector - i wanted to see if i could update the iconnector (not the KV box itself) has anyone experienced this?

did you try powering off box modem and router for 30 secs then on,then try powering off iconn then on and off and on again.

No its not that loader, thats for the KV Box, which ive already used.

From what i've read some people say there is a loader to update just the Iconnector module and thats what im looking for if there is such a thing.

Ive tried resetting router/iconnector but still no joy, it states module update failed and only power light stays on.

hi there are 2 f/w on this very site 2.04 and 1.04 you need to try both and keep trying it will work, the trick is when you power on the iconnect wait 5 second. done mine this way tried and tested method. (preserverance) mate

hi kingdomk also you might have to open the unit up and flick the switch from left back to right then reflash the i connect s/w 4.01 it's in the download top of first page.

hi peeps- i also got a problem with my iconnect, my problem is slightly different mine has 2 lights on but it wont work on the latest f/w box or can't flash the iconnect any ideas please?

I have the file module update 4.1 but there is no way to upload that file to the actual iconnect module.

THe KV loader application is just for the box and not the iconnector module.

Has anyone got any further suggestions or be able to provide the loader?

I had a look in the gargage can and after digging through all the squaller guess what I found.

The I Connector loader is now updated using the loader provided. However now the only issue is trying to update the box. Currently the a750 is on v 02/12/2011. Usually I update the f/w from the menu screen.

It seems like the iconnector is trying to update the box but the run light on the iconnector module flashes once then goes off. Then it comes back on after and stays constant. The f/w update page the KV box stays the same and nothing happens.

Also flashed KV box with 03/01/2012 update loop file. Same sort of issue the iconnector tries to update the KB box goes to 4 lights then drops back to 3 and sticks on that. A few times its stayed on 4 lights, after switching off initially, and stays on that with no progress or luck

online update is offline for all kv units,others may say what the latest firmware is

you cannot if there are no manual updates posted or online is not working,will it work on that firmware as its not that old,try a factory reset/rescan and reboot of network if needed.
checking elsewhere was posted new kv a750 online update 02052012 so maybe some kind person can help you.
