KV A750 + Iconnector help pleasee!! only power light

Hi I've tried re scanning and rebooting network without any luck.

Could someone please be so kind to post the updated flash file for kv750. Thank catackid very much appreciated Jst looking for the file all over now but no joy

Dont be fooled by the date.

Nah, the file is dated feb 2012 but it is more recent, 2013.

Thanks DW190. I uploaded the file onto the KV box. When i went to settings the file says 02/12/2011 - not sure if thats the right one provided?

I also reflashed it just to make sure but unfortunately same result.

Can anyone please kindly help here??

The file is from a box that updated online a few weeks ago. Keep trying the S/W update. It should tell you if its current (Already Updated) or start to update. With a 750 it does tend to hang for a while 0n 99% before completing.

When I go to S/W update it the iconnector module goes to 4 lights then remains on 3 lights.

Seems like software update is not possible. Any chance of getting a more recent one ie. preferably after may

If thats not possible what more can I do to get mine up and running - ive tried factory restore

p.s it does complete the f/w update and don't seem to get stuck.. usually says download completed and box is reflashed

ok i have been told that firmware will/cannot update as it was at an old address,the online update was missed to change it to a new address so box is stuck in the old non working system,if your lucky to find another working 750 box then a box to box transfer is possible via null modem cable,if not a new box is needed.
if that april/may 2011 is released then a null modem cable flash can be done,dont hold your breath,maybe time for the new 850 hd box?

However I do have a friend that also has the same box so you mentioned I can copy the file from box to box, how can this be done? Isit as simple as downloading the file from the kv loader onto the box?

Also is there a way in which I can save this file onto my computer laptop for future instances?

You can do it back to back with both boxes. Doner box connected to tele, receiving box connected to doner with null modem.

From the installation menu select Data Transfer, select Code and hit send, then power on the receiving box.

i have also heard of the 750 not getting any more updates as the box is around 5 yrs old and wont be supported with new updates,when it goes down it will be for the bin and a newer box needed.

Thanks guys managed to get it sorted. The file was from november 2012 so pretty new. I will upload or send if its required, but relatively straight forward, re-flash with a working clone.
