I have been having similar problems, since getting a new A850 box last week

I have tried every possible connection to my new HD A850
however I can not seem to get even ftv channels let alone HD channels

      btw,

yes I have recently been upgraded from 10 > 20mg

however my KV 780 has worked 100% both before, during and currently using the same cables/connections (and superhub)

      earlier today

I took my new HD A850, to a mates house, who still has the old VM modem is is still to be upgraded (currently on 10mg) and the hd box still would not work fully, it worked fine for the first few minutes (although the picture was awful) then the whole picture went off)

whilst in his house we tried a number of options for connections etc (he is well clued up on these things etc)

      puzzled, I am ???

thinking maybe a reflash is needed,it should have worked there
        without the superhub.

when you say switch off wifi

do you mean on the superhub, if so that defies logic

or switch off wifi from router, which I could work with ???

there is a thread somewhere around saying what to do with the superhub that increases the signal lan,
forgot to ask what connections are you using from box to tv.

              Re: Glitching update!

Ok since I last posted I decided to switch my not so super hub into modem mode(WiFi off) and connected to the hub a netgear dual band wireless N router brought off eBay for 35quid.
Then connected my kV 780 to the new router. After using this method for over a week I have seen a vast improvement I rarely get a scrambled message with loss of picture. And channels that were previously terrible are watchable again as at worst the picture will freeze every 5mins or so for 2secs with the sound continuing then picture resumes.
I know this may not work for every but if ur still struggling with bad reliability buying a decent 300m wireless N router for 20quid and using this method I highly recommend.
At worst if this method doesn't improve ur viewing you'll have better WiFi range as in my case and many others the super hubs wireless signal was poor.
