Latest firmware 11/11/12

In past 3 days I've been struggling to update one of the A780 box from 26/04/12 to the latest firmware 11/11/12. I've tried on both VM internet as well as BT provider and still the box won't update. I'm sure there are many A780 owners out there that have this same issue. Now thanks to Digicom for uploading this latest firmware to this forum, see download section if you need it.

it seems to be rar and wont work with my downloader

You have to unpack the rar file first before flashing to your box.

There are many free programs that can do this, such as IZArc.

...or do you mean that you cannot actually download the file to your pc?

i see you have latest sw but you could have updated your box from one of your other boxes with null modem lead box to box you can also lift the latest sw from one of your other box with the normal loader
