Hi, i have not used the box for a while and noticed there was new firmware from november last year, do i have to put this on with the null modem cable, not very reliable, or update in the menu, thanks for any help.

u can try through remote it might be down.

well then you can use the null modem cable method or wait a few days and try again.

I have just tried the online update, no joy yet.

what date is firmware on box as it might be too old to s/w online update.other issues will be using wireless as it needs a cable lan and nothing downloading elsewhere.

26/04/2012 kryptview

Hi guys, Kinda new at this.

I have firmware 26/04/2012 on my box which just stopped working today, only getting basic channels. I know there is a newer version out now but i cant update via remote.

Does this mean I've left it too long and now I need to use null cable to update my box? That isn't a problem just wanna get clued up for future updates.

Did anyone else have the same problem with channels today with this 26/04/2012 version of firmware? I know of 3 boxes that all had same problem.

someone elses 750 went off also,try rebooting box modem and router as in off for 30 secs then on,their box is now back on

if that does not work try an online update and failing that then the null modem cable flash is in downloads,followed by a factory reset/rescan

Hoopz3006, you should be able to update via the menu keep trying maybe the servers down, otherwise use null cable if your desperate.

Channels has came back on but kinda jumpy now, still cant update via remote. I think i'll use null cable to get more up to date firmware anyway, hopefully then remote updates are possible.

Just weird how 3 boxes had same no channels problem and all have this april 2012 software and all boxes cant remote update

possibly area fault near you or posts would be adding up saying boxes down.
