I have flashed my box with the firmware and searched for the channels. but I am still getting scrambled channels? is there summit that I have missed out in doing?????????

Yes you need that cable from your router to the box, thats how you open the channels, don't worry we were all novices once.Comment

don't think you do, just scan your channels for your area and you should be away.Comment

Kryptview a780 with vm fiberoptic
Hi there im new on here, is there any advice on here about setting up i have just brought a kv 780 box, it as already been flashed with the new firmware. i done a scan but cant recieve most the channels in the list, most are scrambled with no picture and others work, i was told by the guy i brought it off i need a basic channel package with vm aswell as my fiberoptic broadband is this true? Any help much appreciatedComment

You can still see all the channels without the minimum package, just make sure you scan your box for the correct net ID for your area. The scambled is normaly related to incoming signal from your VM line.Comment
