Hi I am Ron and a bit new to this particular box

I have just bought and set up a Kryptview 780a all is ok about 7 channels missing not a problem but after i put it in stanby mode and and swicth back on I only get the insatallation menu back up and nothing else? so i had to re-scan? Is this a problem with the box or just a gtlitch in the firmware? Any help would be appreciated. Many thanks in advance.

Out of curiosity which firmware are you using,havent come across this b4....................

Try a reflash with this F/W than update buy lan see what happens.....................

not a common thing,maybe as said try a reflash,if the cable feed went down and box power scanned with no signal?

Sorry mate no joy got no channels with that firmware. Not to worry , one? can you update throught the lan when box is connected to your modem?.

Yes m8 thats what you need to do update it.............

After i update do I need to rescan mate.

Yes m8 unsplit feed remove lan factory reset rescan on correct net id,when saved switch the lot off box ,router,modem.Restart should be good to go...............

all ok just missing a couple of channels Film 4 and Film 4 plus
Is it possible to alter individual qams on these channels if not no worries. and thanks for all your help.

yes a number of known channels are down,hopefully not long will be back again.
